Product Information

How it worksExpand
  • SOLO delivers the solid weed control you need to grow a great crop.
  • It controls weeds growing at the time of application and offers exceptional follow-crop safety.
When to applyExpand
SOLO has a wide window of application that allows you to control early-emerging weeds before they affect yield.

How much to applyExpand
  • Each case of SOLO contains enough herbicide to treat 40 acres.
  • The surfactant MERGE® is required for herbicide activity and is available separately from your retailer.
  • Always ensure that the rate of MERGE is 0.5 L/100 L of spray solution (0.5% spray solution) for optimal performance.
For example:

40 acres10 imp. gallons/acre1 x 8.1 L jug4x10 acre pouches

Application TipsExpand
  • SOLO should be applied early to maximize yield.
  • To optimize herbicide performance, apply SOLO in warm weather to actively growing weeds.
  • Do not apply SOLO if freezing temperatures are forecast or immediately after a frost or unseasonably
cold weather. Temperatures near freezing (below 5ºC) will prevent optimum herbicide performance,
as the weeds are not actively growing.
  • Initial transient crop yellowing may be observed after application, but this is outgrown and will not affect yield.
  • Ensure that the rate of MERGE® is 0.5 L /100 L of spray solution.
