This is your annual commitment agreement for lentils to ensure the integrity and sustainability of the Clearfield® trait.

Here are three easy steps to get the most out of Clearfield lentils

1. Buy Clearfield lentil seed or use farm-saved seed

  • Source seed directly from your local seed grower. To find out who has Clearfield lentil seed please contact AgSolutions® by BASF at 1-877-371-BASF (2273).
  • You may use farm-saved seed, as long as it has passed the Clearfield-CONFIRM test

2. Sign the Clearfield Commitment

  • You are required to sign a Clearfield Commitment form for your farm-saved seed, or for seed you bought. There is no cost associated with the Clearfield Commitment for Lentils.

3. Benefit from BASF Crop Protection Products

Clearfield-CONFIRM

  • The Clearfield-CONFIRM test (seed testing) is offered free of charge to ensure your seed has not been co-mingled with non-Clearfield seed.
  • All farm-saved Clearfield lentil seed or seed for commercial sale must test positive and the test certificate number needs to be recorded on the annual Clearfield Commitment.
